02 β Approach
How Anuman Partners works
Outside perspective
We read your position as an informed outside party β not as your incumbent accountant, and not as a regulator. The intent is to surface what may be useful to consider, stated in measured terms.
Written deliverables
Each engagement produces a written record β memoranda, observations, or adjustment notes. These can be shared with your existing accountant or finance team and referenced over time.
Conversational process
We work through questions in structured sessions rather than one-way reports. This tends to surface more relevant issues than a purely desk-based review.
Thai tax context
Our work is grounded in how Thai tax practice operates β including the Revenue Department's current interpretive priorities and how those affect businesses of your type and scale.
Unhurried engagement
We do not take on more clients than we can attend to carefully. Engagements are scheduled with adequate time for reading, reflection, and considered response.
Confidential handling
Financial and tax information shared during engagements is treated with care. We do not disclose client details or use engagement materials for purposes beyond the stated scope.
NEXT STEP
If a question has been sitting without a clear answer, it may be worth a conversation
An initial conversation is without obligation. It is an opportunity to describe your situation and hear whether our work may be a useful fit.
03 β Questions
Frequently raised questions
Who are Anuman Partners' engagements suited for?
Our engagements may be a fit for Thai-registered companies β including those with foreign shareholders β whose owners or finance leads would find value in a careful outside reading of their tax position or reporting practices. We tend to work with SMEs and mid-size firms rather than large listed entities.
Do you replace our existing accountant?
No. Our role is complementary. The Tax Position Review, for instance, returns observations and open questions that are intended for internal discussion with your existing accountant. We do not file returns or serve as your accountant of record.
How long does a Tax Position Review typically take?
After the intake conversation and receipt of relevant documents, a written memorandum is typically delivered within two to three weeks. The timeline may vary depending on the complexity of the filing history and the completeness of materials provided.
What does the Accounting & Reporting Engagement involve on our side?
It is conducted jointly with your finance team, with weekly working sessions over six to eight weeks. Your team's participation is central to the engagement β the intent is to work through questions together rather than deliver a report in isolation.
Is the Advisory Retainer available on a shorter basis?
The standard structure is six months, which allows for a meaningful working relationship to develop. If you are uncertain whether the retainer is a fit, a Tax Position Review may be a sensible starting point β it can clarify the scope of ongoing questions and whether a retainer arrangement would be useful.
How are fees structured and when are they payable?
Fees are fixed for each engagement type. A deposit is typically required at engagement start, with the balance payable on delivery of the written output. Retainer fees are invoiced monthly in advance. We can discuss payment structure during the initial conversation if needed.
How is client information handled?
All financial, tax, and corporate information shared during engagements is treated with discretion. We do not share client information with third parties except where explicitly requested by the client or required by applicable law.
