01 — Approach

Our methodology

Step 01

Intake and scoping

An initial conversation to understand your situation, confirm the appropriate engagement type, and agree on scope in writing before work begins.

Step 02

Document review and sessions

Review of relevant materials — filed returns, chart of accounts, reporting formats — combined with structured working sessions where questions are explored together.

Step 03

Written deliverable

A written output — memorandum, adjustment notes, or session record — reviewed internally and formatted for sharing with your existing accountant, finance team, or board.

02 — Engagement 01

Tax Position Review

A focused engagement for Thai companies and their owners who would like a considered outside reading of their current tax position. The review covers corporate income tax, VAT, withholding, and personal tax considerations for shareholders, drawing on the most recent filed returns and a short intake conversation.

Returns a written memorandum with observations, open questions, and a sensible list of items for internal discussion with the company's existing accountant. The intent is clarity rather than alarm.

What the review covers

  • Corporate income tax — treatment of deductions, timing, carryforward positions
  • VAT — registration, filing cycle, input tax treatment
  • Withholding tax — compliance on payments to employees and third parties
  • Personal tax considerations for shareholders and directors
  • Open questions and items for follow-up with your accountant

Process steps

  1. 01 Short intake conversation to orient the review
  2. 02 Document submission — most recent two years of filed returns
  3. 03 Review and analysis (typically 2–3 weeks)
  4. 04 Written memorandum delivered for your review
  5. 05 Optional follow-up call to discuss the memorandum

03 — Engagement 02

Accounting & Reporting Engagement

A six-to-eight-week engagement for firms that would like to refine their accounting practices and management reporting. The work reviews the chart of accounts, monthly close process, management report format, and alignment between statutory books and internal reporting.

Conducted jointly with the client's finance team, with weekly working sessions and a written set of observations and adjustments. Suitable for SMEs whose reporting has outgrown its original design and who would benefit from a considered outside reading.

  • Monthly close process — steps, timing, ownership, reconciliation practices
  • Management report format — usefulness, layout, variance analysis
  • Alignment between statutory books and internal reporting
  • Written observations and adjustments delivered at engagement close

Process steps

  1. 01 Intake and scope agreement — define focus areas and timeline
